Frequently Asked Questions

What is Proactive Home Maintenance?

Proactive home maintenance means taking care of small tasks, repairs, and early warning signs before they turn into expensive issues. Instead of reacting to emergencies, we visit your home regularly to review, clean, adjust, and maintain the important parts of your home—saving you time, money, and stress.

What’s included in a home visit?

Each visit includes a rotating maintenance checklist tailored to the season and your specific home. Typical tasks include:

  • Gutter and downspout checks

  • Dryer vent cleaning

  • HVAC filter replacement

  • Leak and moisture detection

  • Caulking or sealing small gaps

  • Safety assessments (smoke/CO detectors, railings, steps)

  • Exterior home checks

  • Minor fixes and adjustments

We focus on preventing problems before they start.

Do you offer different subscription plans?

Yes! We offer three different Home Maintenance Plans to fit every budget:

  • $59 Essentials Plan

  • $99 Smart Care Plan (Most Popular)

  • $249 Premium Service Plan

Each plan includes regular check-ins, maintenance and repairs, plus priority access.

Are you a handyman service?

Not exactly. While we do complete repairs during our visits, our main focus is preventative maintenance. Think of us as your home’s “health checkups”—we keep everything functioning safely and smoothly so big problems don’t sneak up on you.

What areas do you serve?

We proudly serve:

  • Monument, CO

  • Castle Rock, CO

  • Colorado Springs, CO

  • Palmer Lake, CO

  • Black Forest, CO

  • and surrounding areas

If you're nearby but not sure if you're in our service area, just ask—we’re always happy to help.

Do you work with rental properties or landlords?

Yes! Many landlords use our service to keep their rentals in top condition, reduce tenant-caused damage, and avoid costly emergency repairs. We can schedule visits around your needs.

Can cancel my subscription?

Absolutely. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time. We believe in flexibility—not long-term contracts.

Do you handle major repairs?

Not directly. Our job is to identify issues early. If a larger repair is needed—like roofing, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical—we’ll connect you to a pre-screened local specialists and help coordinate the process if needed.

Do you upsell/upcharge for additional work?

No! While we can be hired to handle additional small repairs, our goal is to fix all the small things during a regular visit; saving you time and money. We also don’t upcharge for any large repairs that are handled by other providers. While they sometimes give us a small referral fee, our priority is making sure you get the work done right for a reasonable price.

How long does a typical home maintenance visit take?

Most appointments take around 60-120 minutes, depending on the size of your home, the season, and the maintenance checklist for that visit.

Do I need to be home during the visit?

Not required! Many clients provide access or exterior check options. You’ll receive a summary of what we inspected, what we fixed, and any recommendations after every visit.
